“Resilient is unlike any other outpatient physical therapy experience.

Resilient guarantees one-on-one individualized treatments performed by one of our highly skilled Doctors. Each clinician has undergone rigorous training beyond the typical DPT requirements and has achieved the most noteworthy and respected certifications in the sports orthopedic rehab realm. A combination of evidence-based techniques will be utilized to maximize recovery and optimize function.

  • Manual Therapy

The highly skilled manual or hands-on treatment provided at Resilient Physiotherapy is part of what sets our company apart from other physical therapy practices. From graded joint mobilizations and manipulations to myofascial release and neurodynamics, the PTs at Resilient will utilize their advanced clinical assessment tools and lateral thinking to help treat the condition. Each session follows a one-on-one model allowing for consistent follow-up, regular assessment, and safe progression that is 100% tailored toward each patient’s specific goals.

  • Dry Needling

Dry needling (DN) is performed to augment recovery, aid in injury prevention, and enhance performance for patients of all activity levels. DN has been shown to affect the biomechanical (Langevin et al., 2006), chemical (Shah et al., 2008), and vascular (Larsson et al., 1999) properties of soft tissue. Both improved pain outcomes, as well as functional measurements, are seen in patients who receive DN as compared to those patients receiving exercise training alone (Salom-Moreno et al., 2015). Trigger point, peri-neural, and peri-vascular dry needling techniques in combination with electrical stimulation are utilized to help restore soft tissue properties via direct stimulation of the central nervous system to allow for a faster and more efficient recovery.

  • Sports Rehabilitation

Both Resilient Physiotherapy locations are connected to the area’s most elite gyms and performance facilities. Our mission for each patient is to optimize function to the highest degree so by design, we have ensured a space that provides all the means to best prepare our athletes for return to their sport. All Resilient therapists are Strength and Conditioning Certified (CSCS) and are trained to successfully bridge the gap between completion of initial injury rehab to full activity return. This phase of recovery is often lacking in typical outpatient PT settings, but in order to ensure a safe return, patients must be challenged to levels that meet the demands of their sport.

  • Myofascial Cupping

Myofascial cupping is a therapy utilized to assist in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. The negative pressure achieved with the use of a hand pump helps to decompress the area by lifting the skin and connective tissue (fascia) up into the cup. This helps to eliminate myofascial adhesion and provides increased nutrient-rich blood flow to the area in need.

  • Concussion Treatment

Resilient Physiotherapy is proud to offer comprehensive concussion management and care. From acute injury to chronic post-concussion syndrome, the Resilient team has the resources and skill set to appropriately treat the whole spectrum of concussion symptoms. The initial evaluation will consist of a thorough assessment of the vestibular, visual, and cervical systems as well as an analysis of physiological disturbance via the use of treadmill testing and heart rate monitoring. Based on patient presentation, an individualized plan of care will be established to correct functional deficits and treat symptoms.
